Dear Friends,
By now, hopefully, you should have all received packages in the mail regarding the upcoming Unit Convention and corresponding election. You are warmly encouraged to cast your ballot for the three delegates in person on Saturday February 6th from 5:30-7:00PM at Nancy Campbell Collegiate Institute and participate fully in the Unit Convention which begins at 7:00PM (potluck refreshments start at 6:30PM). The Unit Convention is a vital element in the national and international Baha'i election system. At the unit convention, the participants will consult about the issues, successes and challenges in our region and send these to be presented to the National Convention by our elected delegates. Our unit encompasses Aylmer, Dutton-Dunwich, London, Middlesex Centre, Muncey IR, Southwest Middlesex, St. Thomas, Strathroy-Caradoc, and Thames Centre.
If you are unable to attend and plan to mail your ballot, please ensure that it is sent no later than this Friday Jan 29th. Doing this will ensure it arrives in time. You may also have your ballot hand-delivered by a friend, family member or Local Spiritual Assembly member.
If you did not receive an election package in the mail, please respond to this email immediately so the error can be corrected. You can still vote. It is possible that the address was incorrect or that your name was not on the National Spiritual Assembly's records. The London Baha'i Elections Task Force is happy to assist you.
