In 2007 we added a “Pig Roast Dinner” from 5:00 – 7:00pm. The only charge was for the “Pig Roast meal”. Our youth also be sold Hamburgers, Hotdogs, chips, pop and water throughout the day. For people who preferred a restaurant atmosphere a local restaurant is offerred a “Concert special” that day that included a salad plate.

There was a “prayer tent” set up that was manned the entire time with prayer warriors who prayed for any needs people had such as healing for physical or emotional problems, family, salvations etc.

I sent concert posters out by June to many churches and I am once again looking for people who would be willing to put this year’s posters in their communities.

There was NO charge for any ministries or Christian based businesses that attended.

Ministries provided their own tents or canopies, signs, tables, chairs etc. Remember this was mid August so they made sure they had plenty of shade.

Everything was set up and ready to go by 1:30pm and festivities continued until dusk, then everything was dismantled and cleaned up. We wanted to show the village of Ailsa Craig that we not only cared for their souls and community but also for our environment. By the time we left the “ Lions Park ” that night it sparkled as though we were never there.

If any businesses or ministries would like to be a part of “Make A Joyful Noise 2008” then please contact me to let me know you are coming so we can make sure we get you on any advertising we are doing. You will also be included on our “program” that will be available to the public that day.

If anyone feels that they want to make a donation to help with the costs of putting on such an event or to sponsor one of 12, four foot long purple and gold banners that will be hanging from the light posts all along Main St. Ailsa Craig every summer from now on please send it to the address below or contact me in person. We can give charitable tax receipts.
